GenExperience Launches at DevLearn Expo

New experiential learning design framework employs research on workplace attitudes of Millennials

Millennials in the workplaceCenveo Learning formally launched its GenExperience learning solution at the DevLearn Expo, October 23 in Las Vegas.

Addressing different attitudes toward workplace training among the rising Millennial workforce, GenExperience is an evidence-based, experiential design framework to motivate and engage younger workers in every step of the learning and development process.

Included as part of the eLearning Guild’s inaugural DevLaunch showcase of the latest innovations for the learning technology community, GenExperience is an innovative approach to support workplace learning in the 2020s by directly engaging employees in needs identification, design and co-creation of solutions.

With research showing that Millennials—currently in their mid-20s to late 30s—make up the largest generational cohort in the US labor force but are overall dissatisfied with the available training options, GenExperience is designed to appeal to their independent and learner-driven preferences.

The framework comprises a collaborative toolkit combining rapid prototyping, curation, agile development and formative testing to focus on solutions that embed engaging learning into the regular workflow.
