Speaker Bios:

Josh Miely is the director of member experience at the National Association of Broadcasters, a trade association based in Washington D.C. that advocates on behalf of local and national radio and television stations across America. In his role Josh hosts and produces the NAB Podcast, is responsible for the production and dissemination of all the Association’s virtual content including courses designed by KGL, and helps facilitate and produce in-person educational sessions at the group’s annual conferences, NAB Show which takes place every April in Las Vegas and NAB Show New York, which takes place each October. Josh has spent nearly 20 years in radio broadcasting and holds a BS in Communications from Ohio University.

Kristen Pearson is a certified talent development leader with over 10 years of experience specializing in relationship building, talent strategies and empowering individuals to reach their professional goals. She received her BA in Communication, with a minor in Psychology, from George Mason University. She is a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), a Certified Myers Briggs Practitioner, as well as a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, creating custom designed workshops for teams, leadership development, as well as having coached over 400 individuals and counting. She is currently spearheading the corporate learning and development team at Intelsat as the Manager of Learning and Development. Her focus remains on executing a clear and proactive learning strategy, to meet the diverse needs of the workforce ensuring the creation of an engaging and inclusive learning ecosystem. Previously she held career coaching and exploration roles at American Public University System.

Saria Milano is the Learning and Development Manager for Raley’s, a grocery store chain with locations in Northern California and Nevada.  With over 115 stores and 12,000 team members, her team works tirelessly to deliver training content covering everything from workplace harassment to how to effectively interview candidates. She serves a diverse workforce that essentially consumes the same content which means always striking the right chord to meet the learners where they are while also innovating and modernizing the training material. With over 20 years in the retail and learning sectors, Saria has specialized in training and instructional design at firms including Nordstrom, Orchard Brands, and Raley’s before stepping up to Learning and Development Manager for the supermarket chain. She holds a BA in Anthropology from San Francisco State University, and an MBA in Global Management from University of Phoenix.
